So it's been a while since I've last posted something and I apologize. The NBA trade deadline passed today and there were some interesting ones.
I think Chicago got much stronger by adding Tim Thomas (a 4 who can run the floor), Brad Miller (a good veteran center), and John Salmons (a sg who can score). They need some leadership on the floor and all 3 of these guys are veteran players who will help the Bulls make a push for the playoffs (they are a 1.5 games out of 8th place).
The All-Star game was pretty boring, but little 5'9 Nate Robinson took over the slam dunk throne. He jumped over 7'1 Dwight Howard which was pretty cool...and Howard needs to get a 13-foot rim because he dunked too easily on the 12-foot one.

53% of you chose LeBron James as the MVP for this year, let's see how the second half of the season plays out. That's all for now...I'll write back soon. Keep watching the A-Rod situation too...

As a Bulls fan I was not a fan of the Bulls moves. Brad Miller and Tim Thomas are the answers?!?! Paxson needs to be fired. We could've had Kobe for Deng/Ben Gordan...we could've had Kobe! I think they need to sign Wade in '10 and possibly Bosh. Get rid of Noah as well!
ReplyDeleteAlso Howard should've won the dunk contest...He dunked on 12 feet with ease...
I'm expecting a good March Madness blog!
Shah,
ReplyDeleteI think you should blog about soccer!
me love some soccer.
I was in Milan when David Beckham was signed over!
Yay! haha

Bulls made a great acquisition in Brad Miller and John Salmons. But why need another undersized SG? They already have Ben Gordon. But with this team I see them making a push for the last playoff spot and will definitely get it. Brad Miller is a solid C, PF---too many inconsistent youngsters (Thomas and Noah), SF is solid with Deng, back-court has scorers in Gordon and Salmons, and they also have two good ball handlers in Rose and Hinrich. I can see them making a run at even a 6-7 seed cause SIXERS SUCK.
ReplyDeleteAlso i personally feel that Lebron James is better then I. (I think I works in that statement but then again I dont know Lebrons smarter then me tooo)
All Star game definitely boring.
ReplyDeleteLeBron def MVP.
Kobe still best in the world.
Chicago didn't get better. Salmons can't play pro ball. He needs to go back to the D league. Sixers should have made some moves, maybe unload Brand. And I think Kobe will have a repeat MVP.
ReplyDeletethank you for informing me on what is going on in basketball...but while dom says to blog about soccer, i say your next one should be on volleyball.
